Founder and Creative Director of LWE Interiors, Lorraine brings over 18 years of experience creating beautifully considered spaces across the luxury residential and commercial sectors. Her work blends elegance, functionality, and a deep respect for craftsmanship — resulting in interiors that feel effortlessly sophisticated, yet entirely personal.

After graduating in 2002 with a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Architecture & Design, Lorraine began her career with some of the UK’s leading high-end interior design practices. Over the years, she developed extensive technical knowledge in all aspects of interior architecture — from bespoke joinery and spatial planning to kitchens and bathrooms — working at senior level on a diverse range of luxury projects.

Her career advanced to Head of Interior Design for a prestigious luxury property developer based in Alderley Edge, where she led award-winning design teams and delivered exceptional projects both in the UK and internationally.

Lorraine believes that every building has its own story and unique character. When designing period or heritage properties, she approaches each project with sensitivity to the building’s history — carefully blending original features with contemporary design to create spaces that feel authentic, timeless, and deeply connected to their surroundings.
